"American Vistas", a CD of music for voice and flute, by Mimmi Fulmer and Leone Buyse is released commercially by Albany Records. Scott's piece "Patterns" is featured, with the composer at the piano.

"The Space Between" will receive its Canadian premiere as part of the Vancouver International Song Institute, an 11-day festival of art song. The cycle, on texts of Wendell Berry, will act as the centerpiece of an evening concert entitled "Our Lasting World." "The Space Between," commissioned by the Lotte Lehmann Foundation, will be performed by soprano Martha Guth and pianist Alison D'Amato.
